*Magic Cedar Tea

The cedar is firstly a medicine of protection.It is one of the four sacred plants of the indigenous American Medicine Wheel and occupies the Southern doorway. All parts of the cedar tree have healing properties including the bark, roots, branches, and leaves. The tranquil aroma will transport you to the middle of a forest. Beginning symptoms of a cold? This will get you right ! When taken in a hot tea, cedar  opens up the pores and eliminates sickness very effectively. Cedar leaves and branches are particularly stimulating expectorants, to use when breathing is hard, and illness is acute.  Asthma, bronchitis, and pneumonia are prime examples. When this tea has turned an inviting, golden color you will know it is ready to serve.
 
 
* But like everything, consuming too much of one thing is never good for your body. And in this case, it is recommended that you drink no more than 1-2 cups per day and no more than 3 cups of cedar tea per week.Cedar contains Thujone which is toxic to the human body in large doses.
